Hi, I’m Gale!

You might say I’m a ‘late bloomer’. I came to faith as a ‘young 40 something-er’ and immediately began pursuing Jesus with all my heart, mind and soul. As I look back at the early days of my faith journey, I recognize the Holy Spirit’s work to ignite the desire to know Him and His purpose for my life and to make Him known.

Within a short time of seeking Jesus’ heart, He redirected my path from a 25 year career in banking and administration to a whole new purpose I could never have imagined.

From corporate finance to healthcare

I said yes to Jesus and boldly chose faith instead of fear. 

That decision led me from a cushy corner office of a major financial institution to healthcare where I began work in the community as a personal support worker, launched a home care agency and eventually became a registered nurse caring for the critically ill at a major trauma centre. Proving it is never too late to start something new!

But don’t get me wrong. My path has not been easy. There have been seasons of struggle and doubt. I’ve questioned God – if this is where You’ve called me, why is it so difficult? And perhaps you’ve found yourself here too.
